About The Position

We're looking for an Entry Level Software Developer with hands-on experience in Python and PowerShell to support internal tools, automation, and business workflows. The role emphasizes scripting, troubleshooting, and contributing to new development efforts, including emerging AI initiatives. Experience in healthcare or enterprise environments is a plus. Ability to work with and document legacy codebases and technical debt. Exposure to LLM integration, AI tooling, or chatbot development. This position is responsible for assisting in designing, developing, programming, and configuring organization-specific end user software, including desktop, web, database, web services, and mobile applications, supporting the development of business requirements and user needs across all aspects of the software development life-cycle from scope and definition to technical solution and post-implementation maintenance.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in Python and PowerShell
Scripting
Troubleshooting
Ability to work with and document legacy codebases and technical debt
Associates: Information Technology (Required)
Three (3) years of relevant experience OR equivalent combined education and work experience such as in .NET stack, SQL Server databases, IIS, TFS, PHP, MySQL.
Computer Science or related field.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assists in the coding, testing, and maintaining of the applications, with guidance from more senior developers.
Tests and troubleshoots new and existing software to ensure that the quality and functionality are reliable, accessible, and meet the business, function, and technical requirements and user needs.
Translates basic design specifications and user needs into the required software scope and objectives.
Evaluates business, functional, and technical requirements and specifications as well as user needs for organization-specific software.
24/7 availability and on-call program participation if necessary.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with the development, maintenance, and upgrades of software.
Routinely analyzes software performance metrics against industry trends and developments to determine areas for improvement.
Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements.
