About The Position

Colan Infotech is seeking a skilled Python Developer with extensive experience in backend development, AWS serverless architecture, and SaaS-based product development. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in constructing scalable applications utilizing Python, Django, REST APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

Requirements

• 3 to 8 years of strong hands-on experience in Python backend development
• Strong experience with Django Framework for web application and backend development
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services, event-driven architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong knowledge of REST API design, development, and implementation
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and strong understanding of relational and non-relational database design
• Proven work experience in SaaS-based product development environments
• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
• Good understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices-based applications
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of security best practices in backend development
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
