About The Position

QCSS Health is seeking a Software Developer to support its existing SaaS applications and contribute to building next-generation products. The role supports Medicaid health plans and providers in improving health care outcomes for vulnerable populations. QCSS Health’s solutions positively impact over one hundred thousand Medicaid members. The position is flexible in physical location and can be remote. QCSS is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Travel of 10% or less is required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with SQL databases; Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
• Experience with front-end frameworks; ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core is preferred.
• Experience with object-oriented programming; C# is preferred.
• Experience with git-based source control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and development team members.
• Experience with .NET Blazor and Razor.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Entrepreneurial, energetic, and optimistic attitude.
• Willingness to travel 10% or less.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with C#.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s SaaS applications.
• Contribute to architecture design decisions and develop application features using Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
• Work with team members to learn and share technology and domain knowledge.
• Support ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
• Provide Tier 2/3 customer support to resolve customer issues.
• Stay current on technical trends and methods and advise the team.
• Analyze complex problems methodically and develop straightforward, readable solutions using appropriate design patterns.
• Own significant application features or areas, follow processes, and drive work through completion.
