Description Job overview and responsibilities We are seeking a versatile .NET Developer to join our organization in a unique, high-impact role that blends hands-on software delivery with platform engineering enablement. In this position, you will work embedded within different product engineering teams on a long-term rotational basis to help plan, design, develop, launch, and support efficient systems and solutions aligned to business needs. While embedded, you will also partner closely with our PlatformOps team, receiving specialized training in platform engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and modern cloud infrastructure. Your mission will be to act as a bridge between product teams and platform practices—applying your training to champion best practices, improve delivery workflows, identify and resolve technical issues, and elevate engineering standards across the teams you support. This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently with general guidance and direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design Patterns
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, tools such as Git, and DevOps and SLDC practices
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON schemas, versioning, and API-first design
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Nice To Haves

  • Airlines industry experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of AWS architecture, and hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Route53, IAM, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) with AWS CDK or similar tools such as Terraform
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, Typescript, or Go.
  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and experience with defining and implementing Error Budgets, SLOs and SLIs.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as DynaTrace, DataDog, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
  • CI/CD Tools: Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI
  • Containerization: Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, reliability and performance of containerized applications.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them for research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to company policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, and deliver high-quality, production-ready software applications and features within the assigned product team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, contribute to moderate-to-complex projects, and deliver efficient systems and solutions.
  • Partner closely with PlatformOps to build practical expertise in infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment patterns, and SRE practices.
  • Bring platform knowledge back to the assigned product team by helping improve delivery workflows, resiliency, scalability, deployment readiness, and operational maturity.
  • Adapt smoothly to new team dynamics, codebases, product domains, and engineering practices during rotations.
  • Support and troubleshoot software systems as required by optimizing performance, resolving issues, and providing follow-up on problems and solutions.
  • Contribute to software documentation, user guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials that help teams adopt better engineering and platform practices.
