About The Position
Robertson Heating Supply Co., a 92-year-old distributor, is looking to fill an opening for a full-time Software Developer to join their IT Department. This is an in-person/in-office position in Alliance, Ohio. As a result of the company’s continued growth in the heating and plumbing wholesale industry, we have a need for an additional full-time entry-level software developer. Duties include application (web & mobile) development/maintenance using PHP and MySQL in a Linux environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, SQL
- Web application design
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable with Linux on the command line
- Git version control experience
- Any experience doing software development in a business environment
- React Native and/or VueJS experience
- Computer networking knowledge
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software systems
- Design, develop and deploy new features using PHP & MySQL
- Collaborate with other members of IT Dept, corporate staff and end users to define requirements and deliver solutions
