About The Position

PURVIS is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. The Software Developer will work closely with a team of developers on integrated standalone applications in a Linux environment using Agile development methodologies and tools. The candidate will be responsible for collaboration with team members, software tasking and managing tickets/repositories. The position requires creative thinking and problem-solving. Ideal candidates will also have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering / technical degree with a concentration in computer science
• 2 to 4 years in software engineering, including requirements analysis, problem analysis and resolution, design, and development
• Software experience in Q+, C++, Java, C++
• Systems Engineer experience
• Embedded Systems Software Engineering experience
• Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Signal Processing experience
• Familiarity with Agile Development methodology and the associated tools
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET

Nice To Haves

• Experience using the Qt Framework and Qt Creator IDE for developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) layouts
• Real-Time UI Data Streaming experience
• Frontend-Backend Data Interfacing experience
• Complex Algorithm Engineering experience
• Experience using Atlassian tools
