About The Position

The Software Developer collaborates with business stakeholders to understand complex operational challenges and translate them into well-defined, effective technical solutions. The role contributes to full-stack development of large-scale operational software, including database design, backend APIs, and frontend user experiences. It also involves keeping pace with evolving technologies, modernizing the team's technology stack, and balancing new development with maintenance and support of existing tools.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Seven or more years of software development experience.
Strong track record working with ambiguous, high-level requirements.
Ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders to clarify problems and drive toward well-defined solutions.
Full-stack development experience and a proven record of designing and architecting modern web applications from the ground up.
Proficiency in frontend development with modern single-page applications.
Strong backend development skills in Python.
Expertise in relational database schema design, querying, and performance tuning.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Ability to contribute to a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion and to foster a respectful, supportive workplace.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Vue.js.
Familiarity with FastAPI.
