The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that support business-critical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of professional experience , or equivalent work experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java 11 and 17
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security)
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server , and/or NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with Hibernate / JPA
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose application issues and provide technical support
  • Experience documenting solutions, changes, and workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Exposure to JMS/Messaging , XML, and REST/SOAP services
  • Implement security and data protection measures in compliance with best practices
  • Ability to interact and work with customers remotely and in person as necessary
  • Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand and resolve support tickets and incidents
  • Responsible for timely documentation of customer interactions and workflow
  • Comply with and support Agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to coding standards and project deadlines
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain database queries using SQL Server and/or NoSQL technologies
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
  • Implement security, data protection, and compliance best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve support tickets and incidents, both remotely and in person as needed
  • Document customer interactions, technical solutions, and workflows in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support and actively participate in an Agile development environment
