About The Position

We are seeking a highly versatile developer to support a diverse portfolio of technical responsibilities spanning application/API development, database development, DevOps, and business analysis. This is a hybrid, multi-hat role suited to someone who is not only technically deep in specific areas but also demonstrably effective at using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate and improve the quality of solution development across the stack. This position does require strong SQL coding skills and a solid grasp of database development best practices (schema design, indexing, query optimization, normalization).

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience across application/API development, database development, DevOps, and business analysis.
• Proven, demonstrable proficiency in AI-assisted software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor).
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for the Business Analysis component.
• Strong SQL coding skills.
• Solid grasp of database development best practices (schema design, indexing, query optimization, normalization).

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft/Azure or AWS DevOps certifications).
• Experience mentoring or supporting less senior developers on lower-proficiency tasks (e.g., Application Monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining applications and integrations.
• Developing resilient backend services and clean, secure, well-documented APIs.
• Database development including schema design, indexing, normalization, and query optimization.
• Supporting application monitoring at a working-knowledge level.
• Managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth, low-risk releases.
• Gathering and translating business requirements.
• Liaising between technical and business stakeholders.
• Supporting prioritization.
• Demonstrating proficiency using AI-assisted development tools to design, build, debug, and optimize solutions.
