Software Developer

Euna SolutionsOakville, ON
CA$94,200 - CA$117,700Hybrid

About The Position

Euna Solutions is building the infrastructure that powers how governments buy — and we're looking for a Software Developer to help shape what comes next. You'll join our Euna Procurement development team to deliver real features on a first-in-class B2G marketplace, working at the intersection of modern software craft and AI-assisted development. If you want to ship meaningful work, grow your agentic development skills, and see your code make a genuine impact on public sector communities, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years of software development experience with a track record of shipping robust solutions in Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
  • 1+ years of practical experience implementing AI solutions in a business environment, with some exposure to agentic frameworks or LLM-based systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs and tool integrations, including in the context of LLM-based systems.
  • Solid footing in one or more of our core technologies: Node.js, React, TypeScript, AngularJS, PHP, Python, or MySQL.
  • Comfort with cloud environments (AWS or similar), SQL, and collaboration tools like git and JIRA within agile workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with web testing and accessibility tools such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or axe.
  • Familiarity with prompt design, MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration, or basic agent orchestration concepts.
  • Experience in a B2B or B2G SaaS product environment.
  • A strong eye for UI craft — you care about the details of what users actually experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build front-end web apps and back-end services end-to-end — from detailed designs to rich, production-ready user experiences.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic frameworks (including Claude-powered agents) to write, test, and review code efficiently without sacrificing quality or ownership.
  • Develop tests and metrics that ensure successful delivery, and monitor real-time platform performance to keep things running smoothly.
  • Partner with product and support teams to understand customer needs and contribute from early solution design all the way through to launch.
  • Contribute to a high-functioning team through thoughtful code reviews, clear documentation, and open knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate tooling gaps, agent failures, and workflow friction transparently — helping the team continuously improve how we build, not just what we build.
  • Apply SDLC and security best practices consistently, whether code is hand-written or agent-produced.

Benefits

  • Eunafier Days (Twice a year, you get an extra day tacked onto a long weekend.)
  • Community involvement opportunities through the Engagement Committee.
  • Opportunities for real connection with colleagues.
  • Investment in development through budget, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
