Software Developer (SQL/SharePoint/C#)
About The Position
COLSA Corporation is seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the 96th Test Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida. This cross-functional technical integrator will work across Database Engineering, the Executive Action Group, Plans & Programs, and the Chief Data Office, rotating operationally and physically among these teams within the primary headquarters facility. The role focuses on modernizing mission-critical Wing tools by migrating enterprise SharePoint list applications to Microsoft SQL Server back ends and Microsoft Power Apps front ends. The position is 100% onsite at Eglin AFB.

Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural migration of complex, high-volume SharePoint list applications into scalable Microsoft SQL Server relational databases.
- Create, customize, and maintain SharePoint site collections, sites, lists, libraries, permissions, content types, metadata, and governance templates.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint user issues and improve enterprise solutions’ efficiency, load times, rendering speeds, and scalability.
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate workflows for task management, data aggregation, correspondence tracking, and executive signature routing.
- Connect Power Platform applications to SQL Server databases, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms, and perform data transformations.
- Support Microsoft Power BI dashboard development and report integration.
- Develop, query, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server databases, tables, views, and stored procedures used as application back ends.
- Use DAF Envision (Palantir Foundry) data pipelines to connect, transform, and analyze enterprise data sources in alignment with Department of the Air Force data mandates.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard organizational data.
- Partner with government leadership, executive staff, and technical teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate operational needs into intuitive technical solutions with strong user experience.
- Lead working groups, brief senior leadership, and educate end users on application functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data models, application architecture, and technical specifications in accordance with CMMI Level 3 processes.
