About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to develop software and systems from initial vision through production readiness in a fast, agile environment. The role involves using modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies to help clients address difficult challenges. The developer will identify needed system improvements and ensure team solutions account for the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. The work is collaborative and cross-functional.

Requirements

• Experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, including Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
• Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 7 or more years of software engineering experience in a Linux environment, or 11 or more years of software engineering experience in a Linux environment in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Java libraries, including MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi.
• Experience with Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings.
