About The Position

MACC, a division of Harris, is seeking a Software Developer with expertise in MSSQL, REST API, C# (.NET Core), and Angular (Typescript, HTML, CSS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. This remote role is open to candidates in Canada and the US. Travel is required as needed (approximately 10% for AGM in Eastern Nebraska), and candidates must hold a valid passport and be legally eligible to travel to the United States. The role also emphasizes an AI & Innovation Mindset, requiring candidates to be comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Proven proficiency in MSSQL and database design.
• Experience with REST API development and integration.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core framework.
• Experience with Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
• Must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel to the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with GitHub practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MSSQL.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# using .NET Core.
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
