About The Position

The Software Developer SME develops and maintains automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud production environments, specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. The role covers creating, modifying, debugging, testing, documenting, and maintaining production-quality scripts, as well as automating workflows involving document creation or modification, graphics and asset manipulation, file processing, and document export. The developer troubleshoots automation affected by application updates, operating-system changes, source-document changes, and production workflow changes; assesses the impact of Adobe Creative Cloud version changes; and analyzes and refactors legacy scripts while preserving their required functionality. Scripts may interact with web APIs, local file systems, directories, and common production file formats. The role also includes writing technical documentation, creating test cases, conducting functional and regression testing, managing priorities and tasks, and ensuring products meet customer requirements for quality, responsiveness, accessibility, accuracy, timeliness, and clarity. The candidate must comply with customer development standards and use modern web and application design and development practices.
