About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Programmer Analyst for their Everett, WA location, with consideration for Seattle. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least twice a week, and candidates must reside in the Seattle area or be willing to relocate at their own expense. The position involves designing, developing, and testing full-stack applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards. Key responsibilities include translating customer requirements into software designs, developing and optimizing software products for systems integrations, debugging and resolving issues to ensure reliability, and establishing and improving software processes and tools. The role also involves consulting on software domains and assisting with project and supplier management.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Person (Green card holder or US Citizen) to apply.
  • Must live in the Seattle area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
  • 2+ years’ experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns
  • 2+ years’ experience in languages like C#, Python, Javascript, VB Script or other similar languages, async programming OOP, NET Framework / .NET Core on full stack software projects/programs
  • Experience in web application development (Classic ASP or MVC or similar, RESTful API design)
  • Experience with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years’ experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns
  • 5+ years’ experience in languages like C#, Python, Javascript, VB Script or other similar languages, async programming OOP, NET Framework / .NET Core on full stack software projects/programs
  • Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS frameworks (Angular / React / Vue)
  • REST/Open API
  • Experience using Version Control (e.g. Git)
  • Experience using databases (Eg: SQL/Oracle)
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfaces
  • Experience with AI Development assistance (CoPilot, Amazon Q or similar)
  • Experience using cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AZURE)
  • Experience with DevSecOps and continuous integration (CI/CD)
  • Experience in debugging high available production applications and managing support environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test full stack applications throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
  • Perform review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products.
  • Perform development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
  • Debugs and leads resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
  • Perform development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
  • Consults on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
  • Assists in leading software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
