Software Developer - Production Data Engineering
About The Position
Susquehanna is looking for a Production Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team within the Options group. In this role, you will be on the front lines helping to improve the quality of data delivery, storage and development, while collaborating across multiple development and quantitative groups. This will give you the opportunity to be part of the entire lifecycle of strategy development. You’ll be designing and optimizing systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and stability. You’ll see how your contributions towards developing and supporting leading-edge hardware and software solutions make a firm-wide impact that makes us all smarter, faster, and better. Our systems engineers, network architects, technical analysts and software developers work together to create competitive edge through best-in-class technical solutions. For many of our roles, we don’t expect you to have prior industry experience in proprietary trading or financial services to succeed at Susquehanna International Group. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent.
- Experience in Linux or Windows systems administration.
- Enthusiasm for working with data, especially large sets of data.
- Strong aesthetics for cleanliness and correctness in data.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a medium to large-enterprise server environment.
