About The Position

McKesson is seeking a talented Software Developer to join the McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS) Supply Chain Technology team. This position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications and integrations supporting distribution, supply chain, transportation, logistics, inventory management, procurement, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience, including custom application development, Event Rules (ER), Business Functions, UBEs, BSSVs, Orchestrations, interfaces, and system enhancements. This role works closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support critical MMS business operations.

Requirements

Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5+ years of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development experience.
Strong experience developing and supporting: Event Rules (ER), UBEs, Business Functions, Business Services (BSSVs), Interactive Applications, Tables and Table Conversions, Orchestrations.
Experience supporting JD Edwards Distribution and Supply Chain applications.
Experience with JD Edwards modules including: Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales Order Management, Distribution, Transportation and Logistics.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise integrations utilizing JD Edwards Orchestrator, APIs, EDI transactions, middleware platforms, and interface technologies.
Strong Oracle database experience including SQL development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Experience supporting production JD Edwards environments and resolving application, interface, and data issues.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing practices, and deployment processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions supporting MMS business operations.
Develop and maintain JD Edwards custom applications, Event Rules (ER), Reports (UBE), Business Functions, BSSVs, Tables, Interactive Applications, Named Event Rules, and Orchestrations.
Support JD Edwards Distribution, Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales Order Management, Transportation, Logistics, and Warehouse Management business processes.
Develop and support integrations between JD Edwards and internal or external enterprise applications utilizing Orchestrator, APIs, EDI transactions, middleware platforms, and interface technologies.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Create and maintain technical design documentation, support documentation, implementation plans, and development standards.
Participate in system enhancement projects, software upgrades, package builds, deployments, and retrofit activities.
Develop and support data conversion, migration, and validation activities associated with enterprise initiatives.
Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues involving JD Edwards applications, interfaces, integrations, and data processing.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, testing, and release deployment activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process automation, operational efficiency, and application modernization.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and support Oracle database-related development activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support enterprise integration and application modernization initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and project team members.
Ensure solution reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability across the JD Edwards ecosystem.
