About The Position

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Software Developer (.NET/SQL Server). Reporting to the Business Applications Supervisor, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining Q-Lab’s web, database, and client/server business applications as well as designing and implementing front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#, among other duties. This position is hybrid/onsite in Westlake, OH.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience developing software with C# and .NET.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience designing and maintaining business applications.

Nice To Haves

Experience with WinForms, ASP.NET, or other .NET UI technologies.
Experience with DevExpress is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop software that directly supports manufacturing, laboratory testing, engineering, accounting, purchasing, sales, and customer service. Your work will be used every day across the organization and will have a visible impact on business operations.
Use modern AI development tools to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and automate implementation where appropriate.
Develop and maintain Q-Lab’s web, database, and client/server business applications.
Design and maintain desktop and web applications using C#, .NET, WinForms, ASP.NET, and other Microsoft technologies.
Design, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and business logic.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
Produce business requirements documents, technical specifications, and software design documentation.
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software applications and database systems.
Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
