About The Position

abra professional services is seeking a SQL Server Developer. We are looking for a skilled SQL Server Developer to develop SQL-based business processes for organizational tasks and projects within an information systems department. This role requires strong hands-on development skills in a SQL Server environment, including the ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and well-structured database solutions. A full-time position based in Central Israel.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in SQL Server development.
• Experience developing stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Experience developing data conversion processes.
• Experience developing processes and interfaces using SSIS.
• Experience with integration between systems and databases.
• Experience creating and maintaining indexes.
• Familiarity and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to independently perform unit testing as a sanity check for developed programs.
• Ability to read and understand complex specification documents.
• Strong self-learning ability.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and well-structured code.
• Organized and careful development approach, including documentation, versioning, and best practices.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a challenging and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL-based business processes to support organizational projects and operational needs.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, views, data conversion processes, and database interfaces.
• Build and maintain integrations between systems and databases using SQL Server and SSIS.
• Create and maintain indexes, optimize database processes, and support business process implementation.
• Perform independent unit testing to validate developed solutions and ensure proper functionality.
