About The Position

MaintainX is seeking a Software Developer for their Mobile Platform team. This role is part of the Platform Engineering division, focusing on treating the internal developer platform as a product with internal customers and adoption metrics. The mission is to significantly improve the speed and safety of shipping mobile features at MaintainX by establishing a consistent mobile foundation. This will involve creating a platform where feature teams can focus on building features without worrying about CI, release trains, shared components, and observability, as these will be handled by the platform. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining mobile React Native foundations and tooling, integrating AI-native workflows, raising engineering excellence standards, and leading the evolution of platform primitives like SDKs, CI pipelines, build tools, and local development paths. Collaboration with other platform and product development teams is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

4+ years of mobile engineering experience
Expert in React Native
Proficient building shared modules, SDKs, and reusable components for cross-team use.
Strong understanding of Mobile DevOps
Strong AI mindset
