The role is for a Senior Developer to build and integrate products. The engineering organization values sustainable and repeatable application building, user story mapping, design sprints, close product collaboration, and Kanban for workflow management. They prioritize finishing tasks, believe in small teams for well-defined projects with predictable completion dates, and do not estimate individual stories.

Requirements

  • Expertise in one or more of the following languages and their common frameworks: C#, JavaScript, Python
  • Experience in cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Understanding of API Security and OAuth
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
  • Experience writing unit tests
  • Knowledge of instrumentation techniques
  • Experience building and working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience giving and receiving code reviews, both live and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in horizontally scaling systems
  • Experience in or familiarity with message/event driven architecture patterns and distributed systems architecture
  • Familiarity with systems integration
  • Experience working with an integrated design team
  • An automation mindset

  • Provide intentional mentorship, helping less experienced developers grow and learn.

  • Perform instinctive troubleshooting, rapidly diagnosing and resolving bugs or problems using significant knowledge from experience.
  • Cultivate deep curiosity, researching new technologies, perfecting existing ones, and discovering new libraries and tools to effect change.
  • Be self-motivated, enjoying problem-solving and capable of taking initiative with minimal instruction.
