About The Position

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree. Internship dates: From August 31st to December 18th 2026. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and integrate new technologies specific to cloud computing to prepare for the technological evolution of our flight simulators. As a member of our team, you will ensure the development of new automatization expertise within CAE to accelerate our evolution as a high-tech powerhouse. More specifically, you will contribute to establishing virtual environments allowing the creation and configuration of operating systems used in our complete training environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in software development on Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of software integration and source control tools (Github or other)
  • Good sense of organization and planning
  • Dynamic, results-oriented person with strong team spirit and a good sense of initiative
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Bilingual (French and English) (an asset)
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
  • All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal.
  • They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
  • All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

  • Automation tools such as MDT, PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code/IaC (an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Learn and use the latest DevOps and container technologies to develop and deploy innovative software solutions
  • Integrate new diagnostic, monitoring, and deployment solutions into our simulation products
  • Create, modify, and harmonize scripts or software code to automate the steps would have been done manually during the proof of concept
  • Adapt interfaces to support new tools and environments
  • Look for solutions to new problems such as making a driver work without the physical interface, for example
  • Contribute to the evolution of our innovative high-tech corporate culture
