About The Position

The Software Developer Intern supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). As a Software Developer Intern, you will be working with our team of developers to create new features and functionality for our products. You will also be responsible for researching and resolving software defects. In addition, you will be assisting with the development of test plans and test cases. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Java, C++, or Python. This position will be filled and work onsite in Colorado Springs at the Chidlaw building.

Requirements

• Eligible to receive a secret clearance
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Recent Grad or working towards a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Have a basic understanding of Java, C++, or Python
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with software development tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, Git, etc.)
• Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
• Experience with VMware Software
