About The Position

Join the team responsible for ensuring the quality of I/O technologies at the heart of the company’s products. The Core I/O Quality Engineering team is part of the Core OS organization and validates the functionality and stability of firmware device drivers and frameworks for high-speed I/O interfaces, including USB, Thunderbolt, PCIe, DisplayPort, and accessory management software.

This entrepreneurial role focuses on leading quality efforts for one or more technology areas. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating directly with development teams and cross-functional partners. It calls for excellent communication, strong multitasking, technical and debugging skills, and a drive to improve existing approaches and solve difficult problems. The ideal candidate is technical, creative, motivated, and results-driven.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience or skills.
• Solid operating systems and embedded systems fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Python, C++, or C programming.
• Excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and deep technical and debugging skills.
• Technical, creative, motivated, and results-driven approach.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing, testing, or debugging device drivers, firmware, or other low-level software.
• Experience working with I/O technologies such as USB, PCIe, and display technologies.
• Experience using protocol analyzers and oscilloscopes.
