About The Position

We are looking for a brilliant and motivated Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic Fixed Income Etrading team. In this role, you won't just be testing software; you'll be a key player in revolutionizing our quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated test Frameworks, driving the future of our platform with a focus on generative AI and end-to-end automation.

Requirements

5-8 years of hands-on experience in a QA Automation role.
Proven working experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within the Fixed Income E-Trading domain.
Exceptional proficiency in core Java and a strong, in-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Hands on experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
Expertise in building and using frameworks based on BDD (e.g., Cucumber) and TestNG.
Good experience with Backend Automation using Java, Rust and Python for data validation and accuracy checks.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration services.
Strong command of UNIX/Linux environments.
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

Practical experience with Generative AI (Gen AI) concepts and their application in product development or quality assurance.
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Copilot.
Experience working on developing BDD based frameworks in Rust language.

Responsibilities

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for our applications, defining the scope, tools, and methodologies to ensure top-tier quality.
Champion product quality and delivery through innovative automation initiatives, especially in generative AI, with the goal of creating a zero-touch, fully automated QA platform.
Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
Author and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and in-depth API testing to validate micro-services and ensure data integrity.
Seamlessly integrate automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and accelerate feedback cycles.
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Serve as advisor or coach to new or junior analysts
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
