About The Position
This role focuses on ensuring the application of systems thinking principles, enabling team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy software. The essential functions include providing necessary documentation for the software development lifecycle, developing prototypes and solutions using a diverse range of technology, and applying modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities. Additionally, the role involves leveraging AI concepts to modernize integration points between upstream and downstream systems and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR Formal completion of a bootcamp certification and two years work experience in operations, business or technical field and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR Bachelor’s degree and formal completion of a bootcamp certification and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR Bachelor’s degree and two years work experience in technical field and two years coding experience in a professional environment.

Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networks.
- 10+ years in working COBOL/Mainframe programming
- Experience in modernization efforts for Mainframe programming using AI
- Proven track record of leading junior level programmers including coaching and code review
Responsibilities
