About The Position
ShareGate is a leading Microsoft 365 migration and governance platform known for its simplicity and reliability. It assists IT professionals in moving business data to Microsoft 365 from various sources and provides governance features to maintain data security and optimization. ShareGate is developed by Workleap Technologies, a software company based in Montréal. The role involves joining a team of experienced developers to design and evolve widely used products. The developer will contribute to the development of complete features from Front-End to Back-End, participate in technical and product decisions, and engage in discussions about customer value, performance, quality, and maintainability. Workleap has adopted an operating model where AI is integrated into daily work, and they are seeking developers who utilize AI in their workflow to build, ship, and solve problems more efficiently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Fullstack development experience
- Proficiency in C# .NET
- Experience with React
- Solid understanding of SQL databases
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong interest in product development
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into your day-to-day development work
Responsibilities
- Ship fullstack features in C# .NET and React that users adopt and rely on
- Turn product and design intent into working solutions that solve the actual customer problem, with a real say in what gets built
- Deliver data models and queries (primarily PostgreSQL) that stay fast and reliable as the product scales
- Shape architecture, standards, and technical direction that make the team faster and the codebase healthier over time
- Catch issues before they ship through reviews and testing, so quality holds without slowing delivery
- Use AI tools to work faster and smarter, from writing and reviewing code to problem-solving and shipping
