This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting ReactJS frontend components for Virtual Care Products. The position involves building Java Spring Boot microservices and APIs that support SMART on FHIR, scheduling, encounter, patient, provider, and virtual visit workflows. A key aspect of the role is implementing and supporting SMART on FHIR launch flows, FHIR API interactions, clinical context handling, and secure integration patterns. The developer will integrate Virtual Care Products with HIS platforms such as MEDITECH, Epic, and Cerner, and will design, implement, test, and troubleshoot HL7v2 and FHIR-based integrations using the Mirth integration engine and related interface technologies. The role also includes supporting scheduling and encounter workflow integration, retiring and replacing legacy TSM functionality with modern, standards-based components, and collaborating with various stakeholders including architects, integration teams, HIS stakeholders, clinical/business teams, privacy, security, QA, and operations. Responsibilities also extend to supporting API design, data mapping, message transformation, message validation, error handling, audit logging, monitoring, interface reconciliation, and operational support. The developer will work with QA and Test Lead resources to support integration testing, interface validation, regression testing, defect resolution, release readiness, and production implementation, as well as preparing technical documentation.
