As a Software Developer, Engineering at Reliable Controls you’ll design and implement intelligent building control systems that help our customers achieve aggressive green initiatives. Specifically, you'll develop the software that our customers use for the engineering phase of their projects. Our products leverage data modeling, fault detection and diagnostics, identity and access management, and domain business knowledge. Using domain driven development, SOLID and clean architecture principles, and modern design patterns, you’ll help us build world-class software services and efficient, autonomous building management systems.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of C++ with at least 3 years experience in developing C++ applications
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Web development experience with an understanding of mobile frameworks
  • Experience in embedded web development framework (i.e. Chromium, WebView2)
  • Experience in Web Development using HTML, CSS, and component-based JavaScript frameworks Vue, React, etc.)
  • Experience with Git, TFS, and Visual Studio Code
  • Experience with automated unit/functional testing
  • Agile software development experience (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, estimate, review, test, debug, and document code
  • Support and guide our software development life cycle processes
  • Collaborate in Scrum meetings and help drive team activities
  • Address customer support and technical support issues when needed
  • Support and mentor others in their work efforts and outcomes
  • Address software architectural considerations
  • Monitor, assess, and address technical debt
  • Guide good coding practices and rules, and identify items for improvement
