About The Position

Kinaxis is seeking an early-career software developer to join their team, focusing on building data management and system integration tools. The role involves designing, building, and testing at all levels of the stack, considering security, testability, maintainability, and performance. The developer will collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and contribute to setting guidelines and good practices. This position is ideal for someone interested in how data flows through systems, from real-time events to batch processing for analytics and AI/ML workloads, and eager to grow their understanding of data quality, governance, and APIs.

Requirements

Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related discipline
4 years of progressive software development experience
Disciplined approach to software testing including unit testing and continuous integration
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share ideas, explain your thinking, and work effectively with teammates

Nice To Haves

Ability to use AI and modern development tools in day-to-day work, validating AI-assisted code for correctness and fit while following architecture, security, and code-quality standards
Experience with DevOps and automation technologies (Jenkins, Maven, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub actions)
Experience working with major cloud providers (primarily Azure and GCP)
Ability to work in the cloud with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, GKE, AKS)
