About The Position

Kinaxis is a market-leading company focused on innovation, culture, technology, and customers. With a global presence and a best-in-class HQ in Ottawa, Canada, Kinaxis is a leader in modern supply chain orchestration, providing a powerful, AI-infused platform for full transparency and visibility across end-to-end supply chains. The Data Ingestion team is crucial to this mission, building tools to facilitate data movement into and out of Kinaxis' intelligent platforms. This is a collaborative Agile team seeking a new member to enhance data ingestion speed, flexibility, and scale by adopting new technologies. This is a full-time, 8 or 12-month co-op/intern position, starting September 2026, requiring at least three days a week in the Ottawa, Canada office. Eligibility is for students currently enrolled in full-time education or recent/upcoming graduates within 12 months of the placement end date. The compensation range is $25.24 - $37.02 hourly, with the final offer based on skills, year of education, and experience. Kinaxis utilizes AI tools for initial resume screening, with final decisions made by the human recruitment team.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency with any common programming language: Java, JavaScript/React, C#, Python
Knowledge/experience in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience in relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL.)
Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience building full-stack applications.
Some exposure to dev-ops concepts with containerization (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Experience with ETL tools, big data, and data integration.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new components of our data ingestion, contributing to all phases of development and deployment in private and public clouds.
Build secure SaaS enterprise software services and applications.
Collaborate closely with your agile team members and other stakeholders.
Participate in our agile process to continually improve delivery, quality, and reliability.
May perform other projects as required.
