About The Position

The Force Protection Division is looking for a Software Developer – Command and Control (C2) Applications to support the configuration, integration, customization, and operationalization of command-and-control (C2), Common Operating Picture (COP), workflow orchestration, and situational awareness applications supporting the Rock Island Arsenal Increased Access OTA Prototype. This position focuses on enabling operational awareness, workflow automation, event management, alerting, data fusion, and user experience enhancements within the unified operational environment. The Software Developer works closely with the Software & Platform Engineering Lead, Systems Engineering team, and operational stakeholders to support mission-focused application capabilities.

Requirements

  • BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience executing agile development methodologies and practices
  • Windows Application Development with C# / .NET Framework
  • Windows Server Environments
  • Using REST API’s and Web-based Development
  • Using SDKs to enable Systems Integrations
  • Developing and Maintaining Relational Databases
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices
  • US citizenship and current secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Physical security or force protection systems experience.
  • Knowledge of software optimization techniques
  • Experience writing software technical documentation
  • Experience supporting US Army or other DoW customers
  • Experience with Message Brokers (ex. Apache Kafka, Redis)
