About The Position

Interested in solving complex networking problems within the constraints of a cloud networking environment? Oracle SaaS "Spectra" Platform Engineering is hiring for roles focused on solving the engineering problems surrounding the intra and inter networking support required for managing tens of thousands of Oracle Kubernetes Engine clusters. Oracle SaaS "Spectra" Platform (OSSP) is a managed platform abstracting the complexities of K8s and OCI away from internal Oracle SaaS teams looking to migrate and develop services on to container native environments. Experience with Linux, Cloud, and Kubernetes networking required. (iptables, VCNs, VCN peering, Subnetting, Service Meshs, CNIs, etc). Experience with low level networking protocols desired (TCP/IP, TLS) Experience with Istio, Oracle Cloud, Traefik, Linkerd, Experience developing services in a high level language (ie. Golang, Scala) Position includes developing the automation to manage the full lifecycle for in-cluster components, as such experience with Terraform and Helm, or similar analogs, is beneficial.
