About The Position

Oracle America, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer 3 to design, develop, troubleshoot, and test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. You will build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements. This role may telecommute. Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Enterprise Java Development
Interacting with developing relational database tables
Building UI front ends with Java script frameworks using Typescript
Experience in full cycle of software development using agile methods, specifically scrum, and using GIT, with various workflows
Building and consuming Rest Apis
Building dynamic web pages with HTML
Writing unit tests for Java code using Junit
Writing unit tests for JavaScript using Mocha, Chai, and Sinon
Developing, deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments
Machine Learning and Generative AI

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software.
Apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.
Suggest improvements to the architecture.
