About The Position
As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Programming, including system-level languages Go, C++, or Rust
- Object-oriented and functional programming and Distributed Systems
- Cloud-native patterns including microservices
- Networking & Protocols
- Systems Design, including designing, decomposing, and documenting medium-scale systems
- Testing & Automation, including writing unit, integration, and regression tests
- CI/CD pipelines, mocking frameworks, and test-driven development
- Debugging & Ops Readiness, including tools lperf, strace, tcpdump, logs, and metrics
- Writing runbooks
