About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Requirements

Object oriented programming languages including Java, C++, and Python
Web development including building RESTful APIs and web services
Containerized applications including Docker and orchestration including Kubernetes
Linux and scripting
Data structures (Graph, Trees, Hashing, Arrays, and List), algorithms (Graph Traversal algorithms, Sorting, Searching, and Backtracking), operating systems (Linux, Unix, and MacOS), and distributed systems (failover, resiliency, availability, partitioning, latency and throughput, and caching)
NoSQL and graph DB, systems, storage, distributed persistence technologies (Kafka), and caching strategies
Cloud Infra Services Development by leveraging compute, storage, networking, and monitoring

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
