The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a skilled Salesforce developer to be part of our Application Development Team. As a Salesforce Developer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable and secure applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions. Ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and development processes is crucial. You will conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable code. Managing multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment is expected. You will lead and support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including unit testing, system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience, is also a key responsibility. Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials, is required. Staying current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends, and proactively recommending enhancements and improvements is important. Collaborating with administrators, analysts, and other developers to ensure seamless integration with other systems and platforms is also part of the role.
