About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Java
Data structures and algorithms
Object-oriented design
RESTful API development over HTTP
Databases: SQL and NoSQL
Distributed systems
Microservices architecture and design
Cloud infrastructure and deployments
Linux and Unix systems
Containers and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
CI/CD and build/release engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Nice To Haves

May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
