About The Position
Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.
Requirements
- Object oriented programming (Java and C++)
- Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
- Internet protocols and standards, including SMTP, REST, SSL and HTTP
- Databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
- 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

- Project lead role and/or supervise lower level personnel.
