About The Position

This role is with the Data Ecosystem team which is responsible for building services that customers use to move data into and out of DSQL. This includes Backup, Restore, Bulk Import, Export, Change Data Capture (CDC), Streaming Integrations and Async Data Jobs (DDL, DML). In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principles and will be required to identify and analyze complex problems, devise effective solutions and optimize performance and scalability. The team develops in Rust and uses CDK (Amazon Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
