About The Position
The Software/Data Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
Requirements
- Possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (No CCAs).
- Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using Open Stack and other comparable platforms
- Strong Linux and Python background
- Understanding of IT management and operations
Responsibilities
- Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements; and document test results.
- Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the environment.
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include the use of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) / Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS in place of new development.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards.
- Confer with users or system engineers.
- Analyze usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas.
