About The Position
At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology. Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated software or digital IC design engineer to work with the Innovus routing team in the physical implementation business unit. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and supporting P&R design flow. Development responsibilities will include data-model and P&R flow enhancement, database enhancement, performance enhancement, and API/Class definition & enhancement.
Requirements
- MS with 10+ years of experience, in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge in IC design data model, hierarchical design flow, database architecture, efficient data access algorithms
- Excellent programming and software engineering skills
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with C/C++ and Tcl scripting is preferred.
- Experience in P&R software tool usage is a plus.
- Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms is preferred
