About The Position

Intelerad is seeking a Software Architect to design, build, and improve key parts of its build and delivery infrastructure. The role applies DevOps and cloud-native practices to create reliable pipelines, automation, and tooling that help R&D teams deliver high-quality software in a regulated healthcare environment. The architect works closely with senior architects and development teams, takes ownership of the technical outcomes of assigned components, and develops toward broader platform ownership. The position includes owning defined components of the build system and delivery platform, enabling development teams to use CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes, and implementing product features to established architectural standards. The architect also contributes to platform roadmaps and technical decisions, documents standards, scopes and estimates initiatives, and reports progress to leadership while balancing project work with platform maintenance.

  • Experience deploying and operating containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Programming experience in Golang or Python.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with shell scripting.

  • Experience developing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT software or regulated software development environments.
  • Experience with web development or full-stack technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve defined components of Intelerad’s build system and delivery platform, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Guide development teams in adopting CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes-based container orchestration.

  • Design and implement features across Intelerad products using established design patterns and balancing quality, functionality, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with senior architects and R&D leadership on platform roadmaps, toolset evaluations, and architectural decisions.
  • Document standards and share knowledge to raise team capability.
