About The Position

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of cutting-edge software applications. In this role, you will create technical blueprints, define product/solution architecture, and develop technical specifications. You will integrate software application features into a cohesive system, anticipate trends, stay updated on leading technology, and participate in architectural boards. Your expertise will guide functional objectives and technologies, and you will be instrumental in evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions. Additionally, you will train and oversee development teams, foster collaboration with various stakeholders, and ensure software solutions meet business and customer needs. Requirements

• X years of experience of relevant work experience in software architecture
• 3+ years in cloud native software development or architecture
• Strong computer science fundamentals, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and API design
• Solid understanding of end-to-end product development phases having participated in them
• In-depth understanding of development best practices

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with one or more automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform
• Experience with containerization packaging, tooling, and DevOps methodologies
• Experience in management and orchestration for distributed federated edge K8S clusters like Helm
• Understanding of computer networking and protocols
