About The Position

This role will require you to work across the lifecycle of a software product, from aligning with stakeholders on requirements, to design, implementation, validation, and then release to ti.com. Your ability to develop software products while prioritizing the customer’s user experience will be key to your success. It will be vital for you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in ECE, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 + years of Software experiences including: Embedded Systems (MCU, MPU, ARM), Computer Architecture (Cache, DMA, Interconnect) and Operating Systems along with basic communication peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN)
  • Automotive System’s software architecture along with standard OSes, BSW & middleware components (MCALs, AutoSAR, Linux. etc. )
  • Ability to clearly communicate (via presentations, email, virtual & in-person meetings, etc.) with customers to understand technical requirements and issues
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in ECE or Computer Science
  • Experience in one or more of the following – Linux, freeRTOS, Code Composer Studio (CCS)
  • Strong background in software, firmware development & experience in programming languages like C, C++ & Python
  • Experience with functional safety, ASIL and ASPICE

Responsibilities

  • Design, integration and validation of Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) into customer AUTOSAR systems.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring that the high-performance Battery Management Solutions (BMS) features are successfully integrated into the AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) layer according to strict and safety requirements (ISO26262).
  • Collaborate directly with customers to define requirements for CDD development, ensuring they meet vehicle-level BMS needs.
  • Integrate BMP device CDD into customer system with the AUTOSAR BSW, utilizing MCAL drivers, OS, and RTE.
  • Verify CDD to facilitate efficient and scalable system architectures for customer use-cases.
  • Lead technical issue analysis, root cause debugging and performance optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE guidelines and ISO26262 functional safety standards to achieve customer ASIL goal.
  • Partner with Systems and Marketing teams to deliver system solutions, software, collateral documentation and tools that showcase silicon capability and drive design WINs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including software requirements, design specifications, and test reports.
