About The Position
Tapestry Solutions, A Boeing Company, is seeking a Part-Time Software Application Tester in San Luis Obispo, CA. This role is ideal for a technically savvy Higher Education student seeking a part-time job with a flexible schedule. As a Part-Time Software Application Tester, you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution.
Requirements
- Software troubleshooting experience
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
- Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of manual & automated test cases to verify software performance and function
- Identifies and documents defects
- Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures
- Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
