Software Acceleration Associate - Lubbock, TX
About The Position
This 6-Month Software Acceleration Program is designed to identify, develop, and evaluate high-potential talent for the Software Account Management (SAM) team. It offers a transition from prospecting to closing roles, preparing participants for Software Account Representative (SAR) or Senior SAR positions. Top performers will advance directly into a SAR role, exceptional performers may be considered for Sr SAR, and those not meeting expectations may conclude participation at the end of the program. This role provides full benefits and a clear outcome after six months, serving as a pathway into Software Account Management.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of outbound sales experience (SaaS preferred but not required)
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Confidence engaging with decision makers across phone, email, and social channels
- Ability to manage high volume, handle objections, and build pipeline
- Desire to strengthen full-cycle SaaS sales skills in a closing role
- Comfort working within structured goals, metrics, and performance expectations
- A growth mindset and strong coachability
- Willingness and ability to meet clients face-to-face
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required
- Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed

Responsibilities
- Drive outbound outreach and actively create qualified sales opportunities
- Deliver compelling, value-driven messaging to SMB and mid-market prospects
- Execute structured call, email, and LinkedIn engagement strategies
- Partner closely with SAM leaders and sales partners to refine conversion tactics
- Strengthen SaaS sales acumen through ongoing coaching, training, and hands-on platform experience
- Demonstrate consistent performance within a structured evaluation framework
