About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Head and Assistant Softball Coach. The Head Coach is responsible for knowledge of the sport and imparting that knowledge to participants. The Assistant Coach also needs knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart it. Computer skills are also required for the Assistant Coach position.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
- Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Shall have a knowledge of the activity and be able to impart this knowledge to the participants.
