Soft Count Clerk
About The Position
As the Soft Count Clerk, you will work within the Money Room to count all Casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager. Primary tasks include handling large volumes of cash and chips, counting, sorting, bundling, and recording cash, cleaning work areas as designated by management, counting and balancing all monies, identifying counterfeit bills, individually wrapping all denominations of monies after initial count, comparing all totals of monies, using computers to enter, access or retrieve data, maintaining money-room security according to rules, and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- 10-key proficiency (by touch).
- Tolerance for repetition.
- Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Experience handling large volumes of cash
