About The Position
As the Soft Count Clerk, you will work within the Money Room to count all Casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager. This is a full-time position with a pay of $15.00 per hour and a schedule of Thursday-Monday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
Requirements
- 10-key proficiency (by touch).
- Tolerance for repetition.
- Ability to apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Experience handling large volumes of cash.
Responsibilities
- Handle large volumes of cash and chips.
- Count, sort, bundle, and record cash.
- Clean work areas as designated by management.
- Count and balance all monies.
- Identify counterfeit bills.
- Individually wrap all denominations of monies after initial count.
- Compare all totals of monies.
- Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
- Maintain money-room security according to rules.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
